Ulaira (Lily) has the background for dressage or jumping. Her sire Formaat, imported Dutch Warmblood was sired by Widor out of Astrea by Pion. Widor sired both excellent dressage and jumping horses. Pion bloodlines are still sought after and Formaat has sired premium daughters, combined training to Preliminary and dressage to Prix St. George offspring.
Lily has had a lot of ground work, had a saddle on and person on her back but is not started under saddle yet. I just haven’t had time but it wouldn’t take much. She has fantastic movement, is very sure footed and easy to handle. She loves to jump and free jumped, it was her idea, 3.5 feet at 6 months old. She is also safe around kids and looks after my son when he is in with the horses.
Lily has inherited the Andalusian love of people and is always first to greet people. When I am grooming another horse she likes to creep in between us so somehow she is the one getting the attention. More photos available.
